A homeless man who went viral last year after he gave a stranded woman his last $20, is now suing the woman and her husband after they raised money to help him. Last year, Johnny Bobbitt gave his last $20 to Kate McClure when her car ran out of petrol. Kate shared the news online and Johnny went viral. Subsequently, Kate and her husband, Mark D'Amico started an online fundraiser for him, which drew contributions from over 14,000 donors. The US couple raised more than $400,000 to help Bobbitt. But the homeless man is now accusing them of using the donations as their own "piggy bank". On Tuesday, Bobbitt, 35, filed a lawsuit alleging fraud and conspiracy. Lawyers representing Bobbitt wrote in documents filed in Mount Holly, Philadelphia, that the couple had used the GoFundMe account they set up for Mr Bobbitt "to fund a lifestyle that they could not otherwise afford". Two men – Okon Bassey and Ademola Adekunle, have been arrested in Ogun State by the Police in connection with homosexuality. Bassey and Ademola were arrested following a complaint by Bassey who reported at the Onipanu Divisional Headquarter that Ademola was threatening his life with violence but there was a twist to it when allegation of homosexual practices between the two cropped up. In a release by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, when detectives detailed by the Divisional Police Officer, Onipanu, Sangobiyi Johnson, arrested Ademola last Wednesday, he confessed to being introduced to Bassey by one Mandela for homosexual dating. Oyeyemi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), stated further that Ademola had explained how Bassey promised him N20,000 if he agreed to be his sex partner. The Beverly Hills Cop actor, 57, is expecting his 10th child as his partner Paige Butcher debuted her baby bump while in Los Angeles this month. “Eddie Murphy and longtime girlfriend Paige Butcher are pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child in December,” a rep for Murphy said in a statement. Aretha Franklin fans are saying their final goodbyes to the Queen of Soul. The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit is hosting two days of public open-casket visitations. Franklin died at age 76 of pancreatic cancer on Aug. 16. On Tuesday, the first of the two days, hundreds of people, some of whom spent the night on the sidewalk to save their spots in line, showed up to pay their respects, the Detroit Free Press reported. Franklin’s body was dressed in a red suit and crimson pumps in a gold-plated casket. Gold thread spelled out “Aretha Franklin, The Queen of Soul” in the casket’s lining. The casket arrived in a white 1940 Cadillac LaSalle hearse, the Detroit Free Press noted. The historic vehicle has also carried the bodies of Franklin’s father Rev. C.L. Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, was on Monday afternoon arrested at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, for slapping an employee of Dana Air. It was gathered that the actor arrived late for his 12:15pm Abuja flight and the airline’s security personnel tried to help him to meet up with the flight by searching him. According to eye witnesses, Iyke refused to be searched and pushed the man away, but the man insisted that he must be searched before boarding. The man’s insistence was said to have angered Iyke, who slapped the man for ‘wasting his time.’ Iyke was later arrested by officers from the Airport Police Command. Dana Air’s Media and Communications Manager, Kingsley Ezenwa, who confirmed the incident, said Iyke was, however, released, after he had apologised to the airline employee. Ezenwa added that the actor eventually missed the flight, which was still on ground when the incident happened. Asia Argento will be leaving X Factor Italy, according to multiple reports. Amid allegations that the Italian actress sexually assaulted former child star Jimmy Bennett during a hotel meet-up in 2013, she will be replaced as a judge on the show, according to local media reports. While Argento will still appear in the first seven prerecorded shows, she will be replaced in the live installments by a judge who has not yet been named. The death of Jackson Odell has been ruled a drug overdose. Two months after the   actor and songwriter was found dead on June 8, just ahead of his 21st birthday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed that the cause of death was “acute heroin and cocaine toxicity” and the manner of death was accidental. It’s been over a week since Aretha passed, and PETA had the nerve to send a letter to Aretha’s niece asking if the estate would donate all of Aretha’s furs to their fur donation program. According to the Grio, the program recycles the furs and gives them to people in need, such as those in refugee camps and in homeless shelters. Report has it that two Nigerian girls have been allegedly killed by their employers after being trafficked to work as housemaids in Saudi Arabia. It was gathered that the murder of the two young women occurred within a space of two weeks in the respective homes where they worked as servants by their Saudi bosses.   According to Satellite Times, the first Nigerian girl to be murdered was by name Omotayo who until her death in June 2018 worked as a migrant domestic worker in Riyadh. She reportedly sent this photo to her friends in a group chat called “Strong Nigerian Ladies” – a solidarity group created by Nigerian migrant domestic workers in Saudi Arabia. Omotayo, in her June post which happened to be her last, narrated to the solidarity group her latest incident of battery in the hands of the Saudi family she worked for. There was pandemonium in Amaigbo, Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State on Saturday as some fleeing gunmen suspected to be kidnappers killed a man and abducted a lady believed to be the girlfriend of the deceased. The victim, Theo Mbakwe, popularly known as Chiboy, was shot dead in front of his parents.  A chieftain in the community, Ebubeagu Ekenulo, said the suspects fled with a girl in the victim’s vehicle, describing the killing as a shock to the community.
