Amanda Stewart from Scotland posted photos of her journey to recovery following a double mastectomy on her Facebook page, Cancer, You lose. The 33-year-old mother of two decided on the surgery after she discovered she was at high risk of developing breast cancer. She posted both before and after photos of her breasts in a bid to help raise breast cancer awareness and help other women going through similar experiences.

A stampede during the Hajj outside of the holy Muslim city of Mecca has claimed about 453 lives and left 719 pilgrims injured, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense Service reported. 220 ambulances and 4,000 rescue workers were deployed in the field for emergency treatment of the victims of the crush. The crush happened in Mecca’s neighborhood of Mina, which traditionally provides temporary accommodation for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. The ritual of the ‘Stoning of the Devil’ is performed in a valley surrounding the neighborhood on the night before last day of the Hajj. The stampede happened in a street separating two pilgrim camps, Al Jazeera reported from the scene. "The street is named Street 204. This stampede did not happen during the Stoning of the Devil ritual, which was happening today," correspondent Basma Atassi said.   Brazilian concert promoters have claimed that Tyga cancelled his recent string of shows because of girlfriend Kylie Jenner. Tyga who was due to perform his first show on September 24th informed promoters that he wasn’t going to make it. One tour promoter said: "A rep told us he would not be coming to Brazil for his shows because he was stopped by his current girlfriend, media personality and socialite Kylie Jenner. "We are very upset in finding out an artist lacks the professionalism and the love for Brazilian fans, and allows something personal to interfere with his work schedule.” According to reports the rapper might now have to fork out $400,000 for breaching his contract as he was already paid for the shows and all accommodation and flights had been booked. Ohio Police are investigating the death of an 8-month-old boy who was found dead in a car at a Walmart parking lot here Wednesday. According to the Macedonia Police Department, a parent or guardian drove the family's four children to a day care center at around 8 a.m. Three of the children got out of the car at the day care, but the 8-month-old was left in a car seat. Three to four hours later, the child’s grandmother drove the vehicle to her job at Walmart. The woman reportedly did not look in the back of the vehicle and did not see the baby. Around 5:30 p.m., the baby's mother called the grandmother to say that she couldn't find the baby. When the grandmother went out to the parking lot to check the vehicle, she found the baby dead. A portion of the parking lot was closed Wednesday night while police searched the vehicle at the scene. The car was towed shortly after 8 p.m., and the parking lot reopened.
