Selena Gomez has opened up for the first time on her close pal Demi Lovato's life-threatening drug overdose. declaring that she 'loves' and supports the troubled singer. In a new interview accompanying her cover shoot for ELLE's October issue, the 26-year-old singer and actress revealed that she 'reached out personally' to her friend, also 26, following her overdose and hospitalization in Los Angeles on July 24. 'All I’m saying is, I reached out personally,' she said when she was asked about her friend. 'I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I… I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven. BBC presenter Rachael Bland, 40 who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 has announced, in a moving post that she has only days to live, while thanking everyone for their love and support. In May 2018, Bland, who is the co-host of the You, Me and the Big C podcast,  was told her cancer was incurable. Two months later, she was told her cancer had spread further. In an August article, Bland said she was in a race against time to finish a memoir – For Freddie – she was writing for her 2-year old son Freddie. She wanted her son to know about her when he grows up. She had hoped that it’d be published before she passes. However, in a tweet on Monday, Bland said she has only “days” to live.  She wrote:  In the words of the legendary Frank S - I’m afraid the time has come my friends. And suddenly. A police officer has died reportedly while having sex in his office. According to News Telegraph, 56-year-old Superintendent of Police, Sunday Eguakhide, died on August 24 at about 11:30 am in his office at the Police College, Ikeja. He was with his second wife, who he married unofficially, in his office when he died while having sexual relations with her. Eguakhide's death occurred less than a week before his retirement. His remains were later evacuated and deposited at the Ikeja General Hospital mortuary. The deceased was said to be fond of taking sex enhancement drugs whenever he wanted to make love with the woman known as his unofficial second wife. The woman was arrested by policemen from Ikeja division and has been in detention since then. But the woman reportedly denied knowledge of the cause of Eguakhide's death.
