Former presidential adviser Omarosa Manigault Newman said Sunday she secretly recorded conversations she had in the White House, including her firing by chief of staff John Kelly in the high-security Situation Room. It was a highly unusual admission, which drew immediate fire from allies of the president and national security experts. Parts of her conversation with Kelly were played on the air when she appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" to promote her new book, "Unhinged," which will be released this week. The Associated Press independently listened to the recording of the conversation between Manigault Newman and Kelly, which she said was one of many she'd surreptitiously recorded for her own protection. In her book, Manigault Newman paints a damning picture of President Donald Trump, including claiming without evidence that tapes exist of him using the N-word as he filmed his "The Apprentice" reality series, on which she co-starred.

Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian has been forced to deny divorce speculations raised by a follower who noticed the couple are no longer following each other on Instagram. The distressed follower asked Alexis why Serena unfollowed him and if it means they are about to get divorced. Meghan Markle's father, Thomas, has revealed that his son in-law, Prince Harry, told him to be very careful about his relationship with the press, when he (Harry) started dating his daughter. Prince Harry knew only too well the media storm Meghan had ahead of her as his new girlfriend. So he did what he could to prepare her for the drama to come, offering her advice and support. But the new found interest didn't stop at Meghan, and people were also fascinated by her family. Before their relationship was made public, Harry had spoken to her dad Thomas Markle on the phone several times. And in one of these conversations Harry also offered his future father-in-law some advice, including a brutal warning. He told him to be very, very careful about his relationship with the media. Mr Markle told the Mail on Sunday : "Harry told me that I should never go to the press. That it would all end in tears. "He said, "They will eat you alive". He was right."
