Lindsay Lohan apologizes for hurtful #MeToo comments




Lindsay Lohan is apologizing for her recent comment that women “look weak” by speaking out about sexual misconduct.
“I would like to unreservedly apologize for any hurt and distress caused by a quote in a recent interview with The Times,” Lohan, 32, told People in an exclusive statement.
The actress said, “The quote solely related to my hope that a handful of false testimonies out of a tsunami of heroic voices do not serve to dilute the importance of the #MeToo movement, and all of us who champion it. However, I have since learned how statements like mine are seen as hurtful, which was never my intent. I’m sorry for any pain I may have caused.”  
Lohan’s original comments were made to British newspaper the Times in a recent interview.
“I’m going to really hate myself for saying this, but I think by women speaking against these things, it makes them look weak when they are very strong women,” Lohan told the Times.
The former child star added that she’s “very supportive of women,” although she doesn’t like “attention-seekers” or, as the Times put it, “trial by social media.”
“I don’t really have anything to say. I can’t speak on something I don’t live, right?” Lohan said of the fact that she’s never experienced any sexual misconduct during her years working in the entertainment industry. “Look, I am very supportive of women. Everyone goes through their own experiences in their own ways.”
People were not impressed with her comments, so it’s not exactly surprising she’s issuing an apology.

Lohan, who’s attempting a comeback with a new MTV reality show about her nightclubs in Greece, added that women should report assaults when they happen.

Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to score for Juventus after three games, but  son found the net four times on his debut with the Under-9 team. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, wearing his father’s iconic no. 7 shirt, scored four as his team ‘Pulcini’ category of youth team beat Lucento 5-1 on Saturday. It was reported last week that Cristiano Jnr, 8, had joined Juve’s academy side after being on the books at Real Madrid. Sun reports the youngster was in lethal form as he found the net four times in front of step-mum, Georgina Rodriguez. Ronaldo had previously revealed his hope that his son would follow in his footsteps and make it as a professional. Just a few years back, in the year 1999 Nigeria experienced a change in the telecommunication  sector with the introduction of the GSM phone which I call "general street madness". According to Facebook user Frank Oluigbo, the headless body of a lady was discovered this morning along the Port-Harcourt road Owerri, on a closer look it was discovered that her breast was also cut off. When there is a crime, the first thing to do is to attend to the victims of the  crime and help them in any way you can then go after the criminals, when the criminal are eventually caught the next line of action is either to punish them or forgive them but off course forgiving them will mean they are sober and feel sorry for the crime they have committed and willing to make amends. 'Game Of Thrones' Season 8 Release Date Might Be Later Than We Thought

Winter is coming ... with a little bit of a delay. Earlier this year, rumor had it that “Game of Thrones” Season 8 would begin airing sometime in April 2019. The gossip started with a quote Maisie Williams allegedly gave Metro in the U.K., which she later denied. Still, fans hopped on the date and rally around it to this day. And, hey, a release earlier in the year makes sense. HBO’s president of programming, Casey Bloys, said the show would be premiering in the first half of 2019. And in order to qualify for the Emmy Awards in ’19, a series must air between June 1, 2018, and May 31, 2019. So if HBO wanted the final season of “Game of Thrones” to be considered in the next Emmys, it would have to air before the end of May. Alas, I’m here to tell you, our April watch has ended. LOL(Lots of laughter) & LMAO(Laughing my ass off)

"LOL(lots of laughter)" "LMAO(laughing my ass off)" a popular abbreviation people use on Social Media to express their selves when they want to give the impression that they are laughing... But after much investigation the report on my table shows if 100 people should use the phrase "LOL" or "LMAO"... The photo shows Argento and Jimmy posing for a romantic selfie, from the photo it looked like they just finished making out. Argento had previously denied having any romantic relationship with the 17 years old. At the time of this photo was taken , Bennet was 17 and Argento 37. The New York times reported that months after Argento accused Weinstein of rape , Argento agreed to pay 'hush money' to Bennet after he accused of sexual assault. Argento denied the allegations in the newspaper in a statement first reported Tuesday by the Huffington Post, saying, "I am deeply shocked and hurt by having read news that is absolutely false. I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett."
