There are a lot of actors who  could  play 007 once Daniel Craig retires from the role he despises: Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender (even though he's Irish), Tom Hiddleston (of Hiddleswift fame), David Oyelowo (who actually voices the character in the audiobooks). Hell, even controversially-moustached human man Henry Cavill thinks he has what it takes. But there's only one actor who  should  be the next James Bond, and that's Idris Elba. There's been some back and forth on the subject of Elba as Bond. It began back in 2014, when emails released during the massive Sony hack revealed that then-studio co-chair Amy Pascal told a colleague, "Idris should be the next Bond." After breaking her silence on her recent hospitalization due to an apparent drug overdose, Dem Lovato canceled the remaining concerts on her Tell Me You Love Me tour. Demi was set to play in Mexico and South America in September and November but will focus on her health instead. On Thursday, Live Nation gave a statement to TMZ that said, "We wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America." Demi is  reportedly entering a live-in rehab facility  following her stay at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, and while it's unclear how long she will be in rehab, it sounds like she'll be taking all the time she needs.  Earlier this week,  Demi posted an update on Instagram  and wrote, "I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The  MTV VMAs  take place on Monday, August 20 in New York City. Today, MTV has revealed that  Travis Scott  and  Post Malone  will take the stage during the ceremony. Additionally,  Nicki Minaj  will appear with a “surprise remote performance” from an “iconic New York location.” The latest run of artists join previously announced performers  Ariana Grande ,  Shawn Mendes , and  Logic  with Ryan Tedder.  Jennifer Lopez , who is the recipient of  this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award , will also be performing at the award show for the first time since 2011. The VMAs broadcast airs on August 20 at 9 p.m. Eastern from New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Cardi B is the  most nominated artist  with 10 nods. The L.A. County District Attorney’s office is reviewing a sexual assault allegation against “Black-ish” actor  Anthony Anderson , the office confirmed to  Variety . The LAPD submitted the case to the D.A.’s office on Wednesday. It was first reported by TMZ. Last month, the Blast reported that a woman had gone to police with a claim that Anderson had attacked her last year during an event she catered for him. At the time, Anderson’s rep denied the charges. “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report, whether it is true or false,” his spokesman said. “The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim.” The LAPD also submitted a sexual assault case on Wednesday against  Steven Seagal . ESPN Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has swapped numbers ahead of the 2018-19 season. Coutinho, who wore No. 14 after completing a club-record move from Liverpool in January, will now wear No. 7, the Catalan club confirmed on Thursday. The Brazil international becomes the ninth player to make the number his own since squad numbers were fixed in 1995, and the first since Arda Turan donned the shirt before leaving the club last season. The others to wear the No. 7 shirt were Pedro Rodriguez (2013-2015), David Villa (2010-2013), Eidur Gudjohnsen (2006-2010), Henrik Larsson (2004-2006), Javier Saviola (2001-2004), Alfonso Perez (2000-2001) and former World Player of the Year Luis Figo (1995-2000).
