Nigerian stars Genevieve Nnaji, Somkele Idhalama, Cynthia Erivo stun at #TIFF2018
Many Nigerian stars have been spotted at the ongoing 2018 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF2018).
The stars include actresses, Genevieve Nnaji, Somkele Idhalama and Cynthia Erivo.
Genevieve attended the premiere of her directorial debut movie “Lionheart” over the weekend.
For the event, the star actress looked red hot on the red carpet as she opted for a red pantsuit and we’re so here for it.
Over the weekend, Somkele Idhalama attended the Share Her Journey campaign at the TIFF 2018, and the award-winning actress looked stylish in a white dress, which she rocked with white flat shoes and finished off her look with her afro.
The Share Her Journey campaign is an initiative by TIFF meant to “Champion female storytellers”.
Somkele also looked gorgeous in a black jumpsuit as she attended the 6th annual Birks Diamond Tribute event held last night to honor six Canadian cinema artists.
The private party was held in collaboration with Telefilm Canada.
British Nigerian, Cynthia Erivo brought all of the spunk for the premiere of her first feature film, Widows, at the TIFF 2018.
She joined an amazing star cast of Viola Davis, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Roderiguez, Collin Ferrell, Robert Duvall, Jacki Weaver and Daniel Kaluuya.
Actors Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Damson Idris and Kate Beckinsale and filmmaker Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje from the film ‘Farming’ posed for a portrait during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival at Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto, Canada.
The film, also starring Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji, premiered on the 8th of September.
The film is based on Adewale’s autobiographical story, “Farming.” The script was developed at the Sundance Film Institute and chronicles his own coming-of-age story growing up fostered by a white working-class family in the U.K.
