Alleged Trump mistress Stormy Daniels suddenly pulls out of 'Celebrity Big Brother' — and fans are annoyed
British TV audiences expected to see Stormy Daniels make a major splash as a housemate during Thursday’s premiere of the U.K. version of Celebrity Big Brother. But the adult-film star and alleged former Donald Trump mistress was a no-show — and her lawyer says there’s a good reason why.
Michael Avenatti, who has been representing Daniels in her lawsuits against Trump, told the Daily Mail that his notorious client pulled out of the reality show over a conflict with how she would be portrayed. He also denied reports that she had balked over her salary for the show, which films celebrities living in a house together.
“There was never any pay dispute,” Avenatti told the British paper regarding rumors that Daniels had pushed for an extra $125,000 on top of the $950,000 she was reportedly due to receive for a weeklong appearance. “[That is] completely false.”
“It was over a row with producers,” Avenatti said. “They insisted she conduct herself in a certain way — they attempted to control her and produce a certain result, which she did not feel comfortable with.”
According to Jane Moore, a panelist on the British talk show Loose Women, Daniels said personal issues were also at play.
Today @StormyDaniels was due to talk to us live in the studio. Due to reasons out of our control, the interview couldn’t go ahead. Watch this space…

“Late last night she showed me the emails. There was a custody development involving her 7-year-old daughter,” Moore said of her interview with the newly separated star, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. “She showed me the email. And she thought, ‘I can’t commit to being in the house.’

“She said being a mother comes first. She said, “I will go on the live show to explain why I am not going into the house.’ That was all agreed and suddenly it wasn’t.
“She says [reports] about asking for money are rubbish. Whatever she was going to be paid for the live show she was going to donate to charity.”
Moore added that Daniels is “very angry” about the situation, which has now reportedly become a legal dispute. A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother issued a statement “categorically denying” the story.
Celebrity Big Brother has since posted a tweet addressing Daniels’s sudden departure. The show maintains that it was her decision to leave at the last minute.
Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house. Our focus is now on making a brilliant series with our fantastic celebrities. #CBB

Daniels’s absence from the show — whose cast includes former Cheers star Kirstie Alley — was slammed by viewers. Many noted that the show’s set had a presidential theme in an apparent nod to Daniels’s former relationship to Trump.
Can't believe I've been waiting 6 months for Stormy Daniels to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house only for her to be replaced by fucking Hardeep Singh Kohli. Devastated doesn't even cut it. #CBB

So they created a whole ass White House lawn set and a presidential theme, only to not have Stormy Daniels? What sense does this make? 🙄 #CBB

I can’t believe CBB based an entire season around Stormy Daniels and she didn’t even turn up to the first episode
