Arsenal signs 9 year-old Nigerian footballer, Jayden Adetiba

Arsenal FC has signed a 9-year-old Nigerian footballer, Jayden Adetiba.

The Nigeria-born youngster was signed in South Africa after spending five weeks on trial. Prior to the new deal, Adetiba played for SuperSport United Soccer School.



Confirming the report, Jayden’s father John Adetiba shared on Twitter “the little man joins the big club,” alongside a photo of the young player.

Speaking with The Sun UK, Jayden said: “I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy. I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend. The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team.”
